Paris in 4 Days, How to Spend Your Time
If you want to visit Paris in 4 days, plan everything in advance. Paris is full of attractions and so is its neighborhoods. That is why I like to propose an ideal plan to use in cases like that. Of course, I can prepare a specific plan for every situation but this is a plan that can suit lots of travelers too.
Paris in 4 days – Day 1 program
As a first thing of the Day 1 of your 4 Days in Paris, take the metro line 4 or the RER and get off at Saint Michel Notre Dame station. By doing this, you will visit lots of the most beautiful attractions in Paris.
As a first stage, you can visit Notre Dame Cathedral. It is in the heart of the Ile de la Cité, one of the most symbolical areas of Paris. After visiting Notre-Dame, you can walk or reach another of the most famous attractions. I am talking of the Pompidou Center. It is an amazing architecture. Plus, going inside, you can visit lots of temporary and permanent exhibitions and you can join some events.
At lunch, you can eat something in the Pompidou center area. You can go to Cafè Beaubourg if you want to spend so much time. Or, if you want a restaurant, you can go to Flams in Rue des Lombards.
In the afternoon, you can continue your Parisian walk headed to the Latin Quarter. It is a very famous area of Paris, full of artists and traditional places. Once there, I suggest visiting the Pantheon and the Luxembourg Garden. It is one of my favorite parks!
On the evening of Day 1, I don’t suggest going to night clubs or discos. I think that a show or a concert would be better, to be sure to rest enough to enjoy Day 2 in Paris.

4 days in Paris, Day 2
If you are visiting Paris in 4 days, I think that the second day is the perfect one to visit the main attractions of Paris. During this day, I would go to the Eiffel Tower. If you don’t want to spend too much time around the Eiffel Tower, you can admire it without getting on its top too.
After seeing the Eiffel Tower, you are ready to take a long walk along Champs-Elysees and Place de l’Etoile. It is very emotional seeing these places. Close to this area is the Arc de Triomphe. You can go to the top of it and it’s an experience to do.
At lunch, I suggest going to a traditional cafè or to buy something to eat in a park in the city. Take note of Café Charbon at rue Oberkampf 109 or Boulangerie Bechu at Avenue Victor Hugo 188.
In the afternoon, I suggest going to Place de la Concorde. From there, you are close to two important buildings. The Grand and the Petit Palais are beautiful palaces where you can visit exhibitions too.
At Sunset, I would definitely go to enjoy the magic atmosphere in Canal St. Martin. If you want to experience nigh-life in Paris, I suggest going to arrondissement 9.

Day 3 – more than Paris
I know, it could be absurd visiting more than Paris in your Paris in 4 days experience. Anyway, I think that a good idea could be to dedicate a day or a part of it visiting at least one of the very important and beautiful places very close to Paris.
- The first one is to go to Disneyland Paris, one of the world-famous amusement park. It is a fun activity to do and an attraction for adults too.
- If you are more into nature, I suggest visiting Mont Saint-Michel. It is a real natural wonder where you can walk on splendid beaches or walk-in historical monuments.
- The third idea is to spend a day in the magnificent Versailles. It is an inspiring architecture and a key to comprehending the history of France.
If you prefer to stay in the city anyway, I recommend spending a day visiting the Islands of the city. You can admire the traditional bridges that link the islands to Paris. You can go shopping or relax in the park.
Day 4, Before leaving Paris
Before you leave the city, admire it from above! If you want to experience Paris in 4 days, do not forget to go to Montmartre. You can go there by funicular. Once there, you will see Paris from above and visit another important monument, Sacre-Coeur Cathedral.
If you still have time, after visiting Montmartre I would go to the Jewish quarter, very close to Place des Vosges. And if your flight is in the evening, I suggest walking at Opera too, to see another symbol of Paris.
