Paris in 6 days, a plan to follow
The best thing to do to visit Paris in 6 days is to schedule carefully what to do each day.

For example, for your first day in Paris, I would recommend going straight to the Eiffel Tower area, arrondissement 7. If you want to visit it, buy a skip-the-line ticket to be sure of not waste your time. I have to say that the Tour Eiffel is magnificent even if you don’t go on the top of it.
After that, you can surely go to the Trocadero metro station. If you want to see another striking view of Paris, you can visit Palais de Chaillot. Then, I would totally go to lunch! In the afternoon, the best thing to do to continue exploring Paris and have a break is a short cruise on the Seine. You can do it with the bateaux mouches.
The first day could be the perfect one to visit the Latin Quarter. It is one of the most famous areas of Paris because it is full of artists and students and the atmosphere is very Parisian. I would totally go there in the evening for a walk and for dinner too!

Paris in 6 days, day 2 and 3 schedule
When you visit Paris in 6 days, you are ready for its museum on day 2. I think that even if you are not so much into museums, you should totally go to the Louvre. It is unique architecture itself and there you can visit masterpieces from all over the world. You can join a 2-hours tour to just have an idea of what there is in its rooms. Or, you can spend there the entire day. You won’t be bored!
Anyway, after lunch, I recommend visiting the islands of the city. Ile de la Cité and Ile Saint-Louis are wonderful areas. They both are in the heart of Paris, in arrondissement 4. There you can admire Notre Dame Cathedral the Conciergerie, Sainte-Chapelle. Plus, you can walk in the streets full of beautiful palaces and parks where you can rest in nature. Being here for dinner too would be the best!
During day 3 of your Paris in 6 days experience, you can go to the Arc de Triomphe. From there, you can also visit Napoleon’s Tomb. It is really exciting visiting these monuments. After that, you can go to the Galeries Lafayette. In the same area, you can also go to Place Vendome and Rue de Rivoli to do some shopping. Another attraction of Paris close to these others is Place de la Concorde. From there, you can take a long walk along the Champs-Elysees, where you can spend the evening and night too!

6 days in Paris, day 4 and 5
When you are spending 6 days in Paris, I think that on day 4 you are ready to go to Montmartre. Just take the metro to Absesses station and then the funicular. You will admire Paris from above from another point of view. Plus, you will visit another important attraction in Paris, the Sacre-Coeur Cathedral! After that, you can spend your day in this district, the favorite by the artists. If you want, you can continue your day there. There are lots of Parks in Paris that are valuable for a visit! From there you can easily go to Batignolles.
I think that in the evening on day 4 you can also try to experience Parisian night-life! If you do agree, I recommend going to Pigalle. From there, you can decide to go to the Moulin Rouge or to some other pub or place where you can spend the night. If you would like to go to a quieter and different area, I would go to take a walk along Canal St. Martin.
On day 5, I would totally go to Le Marais. This is one of my favorite districts in Paris. In Le Marais, traditional and modern live together side by side. You can visit lots of interesting museums or just lose yourself in the streets of one of the most beautiful areas of the city. Don’t forget that you are in the same area as the Pompidou Center, one of the most important contemporary art center.

Jolly day ideas

Since you are in Paris for several days, you have enough time to plan trips outside Paris too. Take a look in the weather forecasts and plan when you want to explore Paris neighborhoods too. I like to suggest 3 ideas on what you can do near Paris.
- Disneyland Paris. It is an amusement park that is good for both adults and children.
- Mont Saint-Michel is a wonder of nature close to Paris. You can go to many activities there!
- Versailles is one of the places that make you better understand French history and culture.
If you prefer to spend all of your days in the city, remember to come back to the places that you loved the most before leaving Paris. Just think that museums as the Louvre needs more than one day to be fully experienced.
