When you go there you can see lots of residential buildings. In addition, you can also visit the Biblioteque Nationale the France (the National Library of France).

Another landmark is the Butte aux Cailles. It is a road full of cafès and restaurants.

In the 13th arrondissement you can find lots of different murals. Art is always a mirror of its epoque. So, in this case, you will see Paris thrhough a very special point of view. The one of its street artists. You can go in this arrondissement and walk by yourself looking for street art or you can book a tour. Many people organize private tours to see immediately the artworks.

It is a peculiar route because in the murals you see all the different cultures mixed up.

Arrondissement 13, districts, parks and metro stations

When you go in arrondissement 13, you might want to remember that its districts are Salpetriére, de la Gare, Maison-Blanche and Croulebarbe. The most known road are Avenue de l’Italie and Place de l’Italie. You can go in this arrondissement to walk in one of the parks that are there. For example, you can go to Parc de Choisy, Kellerman or Moulin de la Pointe.

If you want to go there by underground, note down the main stations! Gare d’Austerlitz, Bibliotheque François Mitterando, Campo Formio, Chevaleret and Corvisart are important. Glaciere, Les Gobelins, Maison Blanche, Nationale and Olympiades are useful too. Place de l’Italie, Porte d’Italie, Porte d’Ivry and Porte de Choisy referes to the ancient gates of the city. Quai de la Gare, Saint-Marcel and Tolbiac are in the thirteenth arrondissement too.
