Disneyland Paris reopening updates

Disneyland Paris reopening day is still unannounced. As Disneyland is huge, and it always hosts very big events, it is still closed due to the Coronavirus emergency.

Even if a very slow deconfinement started on May 11 in Paris and all in many other cities in France, everyone must still be super-careful.

While movie theatres will maybe be allowed to reopen in June, the ban still remains on festivals and events that may host more than 5000 people. This, at least until September 2020.

Since events in Disneyland attracts people from all over the world, the rules applied are fairly strict. Here is the latest news about Disneyland Paris reopening.

About Disneyland Paris closure and reopening

Disneyland Paris closed in late February because of the Coronavirus pandemic. Even if parks in Paris reopened, theme parks and entertainment parks are already closed, since they attract most people.

The latest update about the temporary closure of Disneyland Paris is dated 05/15/2020:

As a result of the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic and in line with government measures, Disneyland Paris will remain closed until further notice. We look forward to welcoming guests to our resort again once it is advisable to do so.

Only applying such exceptional measures the guests and employees are safe.

Also, people who had already booked a stay in Disneyland Paris could change their plans so easier. Booking and cancellation policies have been temporarily adjusted to make respecting the rules even easier.

By now, people who had booked for a holiday at Disneyland Paris arriving on or before 14 July 2020 can ask for a refund or for a voucher for the amount already paid. Or, the other option is to rebook a similar holiday at the same price and under the same conditions. To take these advantages, you just have to fill the electronic form through disneylandparis.com or consult your tour operator.
