Where to go jogging in Paris?
You will see lots of Parisians jogging on the roads of the city as well, but I suggest preferring one of the green areas of the city.
- Champs de Mars
If you don’t want to forget that you are in Paris for not even a second, go jogging at Champs de Mars.
- Parc Monceau
Parc Monceau is an enchanting park in Paris with age-old trees and statues. It is the perfect place for beginners but also to train for competitions! It gets crowded on weekends.
- Bois de Vincennes and bois de Boulogne
The two green “lungs of Paris” are located at the east and west ends of the city. They both offer natural landscapes and an enormous amount of paths.
- Coulée Verte
The Promenade plantée follows the path of an ancient railway passage that connected the Bastille with Vincennes. It is a line to feel like in a green oasis surrounded by buildings. It is perfect if you are looking for somewhere to go at a low pace.
- Parc des Buttes Chaumont
The landscape you can see here is fantastic, but it is somewhere to go jogging only if you are an expert! The ground is irregular and unstable.
- Jardin du Luxembourg
One more place for beginners is the Jardin du Luxembourg, the most elegant park in Paris.
