The 110th edition of the Tour de France will kick off on Saturday 1 July 2023 from the Basque Country, Spain, which will host the first three stages of the Grande Boucle.

Among the stages in the spotlight is the ninth stage which sees the return of the Puy de Dome, the highest extinct volcano in the Auvergne, which had been missing since 1988.
