New Year’s celebrations in Paris usually take place during the month of January and part of February. These are perfect months to come shopping in Paris too since Paris winter sales usually are during the first weeks of the year. People always wait a lot for sales in Paris: you can save up to 80% toward the end!

Also, fashionistas will be glad to know that Fashion weeks are usually planned in January and February.

 

New Year’s celebrations in Paris for 2021

  • If you would like to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Paris with many people, go to the celebrations at the Eiffel Tower. Also, during the first day of the year, you can visit the Tower for free!

 

  • The very first important event in Paris in 2021 is the Chinese New Year’s Parade. It is one of the most famous New Year’s celebrations all over the world. Chinese New Year 2021 falls on Saturday, February 21. Celebrations will start around noon at the Eiffel Tower.

 

  • Smaller celebrations for the New Year will take place at the Guimet Museum too. They are programming special activities for January 24 and 25, 2020.

 

  • On January 25, 2020, there will be a special New Year’s celebration in Faubourg Saint-HonorĂ©. It is the chance to take part in a Parisian tradition consisting of a show with dancers, drummers, and festive red lanterns.
