Here are the film festivals and the outdoor cinema to go to in Paris in 2022.
- Hotel Paradiso outdoor cinema
Hotel Paradiso host a rooftop with outdoor cinema. This is THE terrace that you can’t miss being this summer 2022 in Paris. The Hotel Paradiso will host once again but with new proposals a season of open-air cinema.
- Paris Galliera open-air cinema
One more open-air cinema is at the Palais Galliera. This fantastic Parisian museum host an outdoor cinema season dedicated to the history of fashion in Paris starting this June.
- Parc de la Villette
Last but not least, the cinema season at Parc de la Villette is coming back too. Every summer, for 25 evenings, Parc de la Villette still becomes the largest open-air cinema in Paris.
For this new edition, dance will be the main subject. Disco (Saturday Night Fever by John Badham), classical (Red Slippers by Michael Powell, Girl by Lukas Dhont), aquatic dance (Naissance des pieuvres by Céline Sciamma), electro (Eden by Mia Hansen-Løve), krump ( Rize by David LaChapelle), and tap dancing (The Artist by Michel Hazanavicius). From the frenzied twist of John Travolta and Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction to the waltz of Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise in Eyes Wide Shut, dance, a universal means of expression, is continuing to give cinema scenes that have become cult!
