Paris in 3 days. Day 1

If you want to visit Paris in 3 days, go straight to the Eiffel Tower. You will get to the heart of Paris, straight to its symbols. You can go there by metro, getting off at Trocadéro station.

After visiting the Tour Eiffel, you can take a walk in the Champ de Mars, a green wonder of Paris. Consider the idea of taking a walk along the Seine. If you are tired, you can also admire the city from a Bateau Mouche. It is a ferry that you can take on the Seine. They do cruises of an hour or more.

Since you are very close to my favorite arrondissement, the fourth, I suggest eating something in Le Marais. It is a Parisian district where you can admire the traditional and modern features mix. That is why I often recommend going there to eat at lunch.

After a break, I suggest taking metro line 1 or 4, and get off at Hotel de Ville or Chatelet station. This is to admire another symbol of Paris at Sunset: Notre Dame Cathedral. The light is amazing to admire this architectural masterpiece.

At this point, you should need to rest, so I suggest going to dinner. After dinner, you can take a walk or you can go to some events in Paris in 2020.
I don’t suggest going to a pub, disco or night club the day you arrive. It is way better to rest to enjoy day 2.

Day 2 schedule if you are in Paris for three days

On day 2 of your Paris in 3 days experience, I suggest going to Champs Elysees so you can take a walk to go to the Arc de Triomphe. Here you can admire the city from above once again. Plus, you will be not so far from the Louvre Museum. There, you will see the masterpieces of national and international artists.

After visiting the Louvre, I would definitely go to Montmartre. You can go there by funicular. You will be in one of the highest spots in Paris. Plus, you can taste an authentic French baguette stuffed with what you like. You can arrange a picnic in one of the Parks in Paris or you can eat at a café.

A stuffed baguette is one of the most typical French meal!

In the afternoon I suggest visiting one of the most beautiful churches in Paris, the Sacre Coeur Cathedral. Plus, you can go to the Panthéon too.

Day 2 is a good day to enjoy the night-life. If you want to go to see a show in the world-famous Moulin Rouge, you must book in advance. If you prefer something quieter but still very lively, I suggest taking a walk along Canal St Martin. There are lots of cafès or bar where you can eat something for dinner and then admiring the
view.

Day 3 ideas

As I told you before, If I would have to stay for 3 days in Paris, I would go outside the city too. That is why I suggest considering the idea of visiting places like Versailles or Mont Saint-Michel. They both are places that are very well-connected to the city center and to the airport, so you can go straight from there to the airport you need.

It is better to visit another place than spending all of your time at the airport, isn’t it?

If you want to have a plan to follow that is in the city center, I suggest going to the islands of Paris. Ile de la Cité and Ile Saint-Louis are in the heart of Paris. There you will visit parks and you will also see the Parisian bridges, a very French architecture.
