How Paris celebrates music

french songs musicAre you planning to come to Paris in June? Don’t miss the chance to join the most special event dedicated to music!

The Fête de la Musique is back on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. The Fete de la Musique is a chance to go to the streets to sing, dance and discover new bands and artists for free.

Whether you’re a fan of rock, jazz, electro, rap, metal, or classical music, you’re sure to find something you like. This is because the Fête de la Musique celebrates all styles and genres for just one day!

The Music Festival was created in 1982 by the Ministry of Culture. Such mobilization of professional and amateur musicians, and this new attention to all musical genres, thus became, through the immediate success of a popular event, the translation of a policy that intended to give space to amateur practices as well as to rock, jazz, song, and traditional music.
