Paris with kids, Tour Eiffel and Cinéaqua
You might be surprised knowing how Paris with kids is a good idea. Even visiting the main attractions of the city can be very easy if you plan everything in advance.
Today, I want to write about two of the best activities you can do in Paris with kids. The two attractions and landmarks are both in arrondissement 7.
If you are in Paris with kids, go visit the main symbol of the city! It will be unforgettable for all of you. The Eiffel Tower is 323 meters tall and it weighs 8000 tons! It is very fascinating, even though French people do not always like it. For those who are exploring Paris for the first time is just like a dream. You can see everything from above and admire the Seine river and all the gardens that Louis 15 wanted for the city.
In the neighborhoods, there is also another of the best attractions in the city for children and kids.
Paris with kids, why go to the Eiffel Tower
As I mentioned, if you go to Paris with kids, you can share with them the experience of seeing this big architecture masterpiece. Even if you don’t go on top and you reach only the second floor is something unique.
I tell you more: the second floor is absolutely the best to enjoy the Tour Eiffel experience because when you go higher and you don’t know the city, everything seems blurred. If you prefer to stay on the first floor, you will enjoy the visit too! The first floor is made of a crystal surface that allows you seeing above anyway.
Good advice is to buy in advance the tickets so you can skip the line! Plus, buying the tickets in advance, you will plan the day and the time of your visit. You can buy the ticket on the official site of the Eiffel Tower to save some money.
The price of the ticket that you pay to go on the Tower, when you are in Paris with kids, is around 25 € for adults, 12 € for kids and 6 € for children.
If you want to know how to go to the Eiffel Tower, just note down these metro stations:
- Trocadero (Paris Metro Line 9)
- Bir – Hakeim (Paris Metro Line 6)
- Ecole Militaire (Paris Metro Line 8)
Paris with kids, Cineaqua Aquarium
After visiting the Eiffel Tower, when you are in Paris with kids don’t miss the chance to go to the Cinéaqua Paris! It is a big aquarium in the Trocadero Gardens, very close to the Tower.
At the Cineaqua Aquarium you will see about 10.000 species of fishes from all the world. Plus, there is also a touch-sensitive area that is designed for children and kids. And if you are brave enough you can also walk through the Sharks tunnel!
Just as the Eiffel Tower, the Cineaqua Aquarium had been built for the 1878 Expo.
The timetable of Cineaqua is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the ticket price is of 20 € for adults, of 16 € for young adults (13-17) and of 13 € for kids. Babies until 2 years enter for free.
If you want to go there leaving aside the Eiffel Tower experience, you can reach the Cineaqua by metro, getting off at Trocadero or at Ièna station. And remember: through Trocadero Gardens you can reach the Seine!
