Shopping in Paris, 3 famous streets

rue de rivoli shopping streetsWhich are the most famous shopping streets in Paris? Here are, once again, the names to note down if you want to do unique shopping in Paris!

3  Famous Shopping Streets in Paris

  • Shopping in rue de Rivoli
Rue de Rivoli is always on top of the list of the shopping streets in Paris. Here you can find almost everything! Starting with huge department stores and coming to the smallest and chicest boutiques.

Rue de Rivoli also is the place where you can find big chain stores: Zara, H&M, Yves Rocher, Gap, Mango…
This also is the right place to go if you are looking for souvenirs. There are many tourist stores where you can find small and big gifts to take home.

If you would like to take a walk on rue de Rivoli, start from Place de la Concorde. There, you also have the opportunity to visit the splendid Church of Saint-Paul-Saint-Louis. It is one of the historical landmarks of the city. In the very same area, you can also visit the Louvre Museum!

  • Luxury shopping along the Champs Elysées
The Champs Elysées is another place to be if you want to shop in Paris. The starting point to take a walk along the Champs Elysées is the same as rue de Rivoli, Place de la Concorde. From there, I suggest continuing in the westerly direction towards the Arc de Triomphe.

Along the Champs Elysées, you will find lots of luxury boutiques such as Cartier, Dior, Gucci, Fendi, Hugo Boss, Valentino… Even if you don’t plan to buy anything, you will see pure artwork in fabric!

  • Haussmann Boulevard
This area of the city is a must-see even if you don’t love shopping. It represents the revolution of modern urbanism. To go on Boulevard Haussmann, I suggest going to arrondissement 9 and then walk towards the West. Along this street, you will have the chance to take a look at beautiful houses. Also, Haussmann Boulevard is where you can find department stores such as Galeries Lafayette and Au Printemps.
