Staying here means to be near the Eiffel Tower and so to the closest attractions in Paris. From here you can walk to Champ de Mars and the Tour Eiffel, it is one of the most pleasant walks! If you don’t already know what to do in Paris, take a look at the Paris Travel Planning section.
The metro station that you can refer to go there are Arts et Metiers or Republique. In here you will be in the heart of the arrondissement 7, one of the best to visit Paris or from which to move to go to work meetings.
