January 2019

  • January 1. Go to the New Year’s Parade at Champs Elysees at 10 a.m.
  • Until January 6. Go to visit the exhibition dedicated to potatoes at Cité des Sciences!
  • Until January 8. Go to Champs-Elysees and admire special Xmas lights!
  • Until January 9. Go to le Grand Palais des Glaces to ice skate
  • January 9. Winter sales start!
  • Until January 14. Visit Jean-Michel Basquiat exhibitions at Louis Vuitton Foundation.
  • Until January 21. Eblouissante Venise exhibitions close today. Go to the Grand Palais!
  • Until January 27. Visit the Alphonse Mucha exhibition at Musée du Luxembourg.
  • January 29. Go to the concert in Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral in the evening

February 2019

  • February 2. Chopin and Liszt concert at Saint Ephrem.
  • February 5. Chinese New Year parade in Le Marais. The party starts at 10 a.m.! Parades and shows to celebrate the Chinese New Year!
  • February 12. Presentation of the Yves Saint Laurent Museum permanent collection! Get off at Alma Marceau metro station
  • February 17. The celebration of the Chinese New Year continues in the 13th arrondissement. The parade starts at Porte d’Ivry 44 at 1 p.m.
  • February 14. A romantic cruise on the Seine River. Dinner and concert while cruising with your partner. Starting point: Port de la Bourdonnais.
  • February 16 and February 23. Dinner and Concert at Saint-Germain des Pres Church.
  • 3, 10, 17 and 24  February at Theatre des Champs-Elysees.
  • February 19. New Exhibition at Picasso Museums. The exhibition is about Pablo Picasso and Alexander Calder.
  • Until February 19. Paris Winter Sales! Check out the store with the sign “Soldes” outside!
  • February 22. At the Atelier des Lumieres starts “The Starry Night”, a digital exhibition dedicated to Van Gogh’s masterpieces.



March 2019

  • From 1 to 19 March, except for 4, 7, 10 and the 13th, you can go to see the Swan Lake performed by the Paris Opera Ballet at the wonderful Opera Bastille!
  • March 3. Go to Avenue Gambetta to enjoy the Carnaval de Paris, a parade with a route in the arrondissement 20. It will last from 1 to 5 p.m.!
  • March 10. If you want to stay fit even during your holiday or your enjoy seeing runners of all world unite, join the Paris Half Marathon! Starting at 9 a.m. from Bois de Vincennes. It is the possibility to see the giant forest of Paris East Side.
  • March 13 and 14. Johann Sebastian Bach concert. The performance, entitled Mass in B Minor will take place in the Chateau de Versailles. It will take place at 8 p.m.
  • From the 15th to the 18th of March. Get off at Porte de Versaille or at Balard metro station and enjoy a huge book fair in Paris! Even if you don’t go there to buy something, it is a very enjoyable experience.
  • March 24 and 31. Go to the Champs-Elysees theatre to listen to Sunday Morning Concerts! It starts at 11 a.m. in the Main Hall!
  • March 24. Lunchtime with a concert in a spectacular place. Go to Palais Garnier, also known as the Paris Opera House, to enjoy an affordable musical and food experience. It starts at 12 p.m.
  • March 29. Go to the opening event of Foire du Trone, a Fun Fair in Bois de Vincennes. Near the Porte Dorée metro station it will take place a huge fair with events, shops, and food stands. It starts at noon.
  • March 29, 30, 31. Go to the Chateau de Versailles and enjoy “Marie-Antoinette” performed by the Malandain Ballet Biarritz. It starts at 8 p.m.
  • March 18 and 22. Concert at Saint Ephrem Church. Music by Mozart, Satie, and Beethoven performed by Pascal Mantin. The concert starts at 7.30 p.m.

April 2019

  • April 3-7. At the magnificent Tuileries Garden will take place the art and design annual exhibition! It is a huge event where you can admire many showcases from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • April 4-7. If you are into art don’t miss the chance to join the art fair that will take place under the glass dome of the Grand Palais!
  • April 6. Would you like to fight a soft battle? Go to Place de la République and join the Pillow Fight Day event. Find more details at the official Facebook page Flash Mob Party
  • April 11-14. If you like ancient and rare books or you have a passion for autographs, go to the International fair dedicated to it. It is at the Grand Palais and there are events at every hour of the day. Check the program here.
  • From 11 to 13 April you can go to Le Grand Rex and listen to Bob Dylan!
  • April 13 and 22. Go to the Saint-Germain des Pres Church and enjoy the dinner (La Christine) and the concert. It starts at 6.30 p.m.!
  • April 14. Paris Marathon will take place from Arc de Triomphe at 8.20 a.m. It is a very crowded event!
  • April 21. Celebrate Easter in Paris in one of the churches of Paris. The mass there is a unique experience!
  • April 21. Join the largest Easter egg hunt of Paris in Parc André Citroen. It is very funny to watch too!
  • April 30. Go to the Madelaine Church to listen to music by Vivaldi, Albinoni, and Schubert.



May 2019

  • All month. Visit “Archaeology Goes Graphic”, the exhibition at Louvre’s Petite Galerie where archaeology is related to comic books.
  • May 8. Celebrate the Fete de la Victoire, the French National Holiday. Usually, the celebrations are near the Arc de Triomphe during all day!
  • May 9-12. Go to the Taste of Paris Festival to enjoy sample dishes cooked by the most famous chefs of the city! It will be at the Grand Palais.
  • May 12. The Sunday Morning Concert of May at the Champs-Elysees Theatre starts at 11 a.m.!
  • May 18. Don’t miss the European Museums Night! You can visit all the main museums of the city at night.
  • May 16-27. If you are in Paris during these days, take part in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés Jazz Festival! See all the concerts and places here.
  • May 18. Go to Versailles Palace to listen to the Brandenburg Concertos by Bach. This unique experience starts at 7 p.m.
  • May 22-26. Take a walk following the route of Canal Saint Maritn, in arrondissement 10. There is the street art festival, with performances and stands!
  • May 24. Go to the event dedicated to the 90s to enjoy the music and atmosphere of that decade! The event starts at 8 p.m. at the Palais des Sports.

June 2019

  • June 1-2. Go to the “We Love Green Festival” in Parc de Batagelle! Folk, pop and electronic performances and workshop on both days
  • June 7. On this day will start the FIFA Women’s WorldCup! The matches will take place at Parc des Princes at 9 p.m.
  • June 8. Go to the Madeleine Church to listen to Mozart’s Requiem. The concert starts at 8.30 p.m
  • June 11. If you like pop music, don’t miss the chance to see Maroon 5 at the AccorHotels Arena
  • June 16. Join the bicycle festival (Fete du Velo). You can participate in multiple places of the city.
  • June 21. Join the Fete de la Musique, a festival dedicated to music with free indoor and outdoor concerts.
  • June 21. A festival that is almost a tradition is the one dedicated to Chopin in Parc Bagatelle.
  • June 21-23. See the Paris Air Show at le Bourget Airport. You will see a show made by planes!
  • June 29. Go to the LGBT Parade, one of the most colorful parades that you could see in Paris. It will starts at 2 p.m. and will finish in Place de République, where there will be many concerts.
  • June 30. Join the Paris Jazz Festival that will take place in Parc Floral, the Paris Botanical Garden, in Bois de Vincennes. The concert times vary so check the Festival website!



July 2019

  • All month. From June to August you can take advantage of the Paris summer sales! Just look for the sign “soldes” and start making affairs!
  • Until July 4 you can go to the Haute Couture Fashion Week that takes place in Paris at the Grand Palais, Espace Eiffel, Palais de Tokyo, and Musée Galliera.
  • July 4,5 and 6. go to the Paris Plages and join one of the many concerts held by contemporary French musicians. From 5 p.m. to midnight in front of the Hotel de Ville (i.e. Paris’ City Hall)
  • July 6. Starting from this day you can go to Paris Plages. The Left and the Right banks of the Parc Rives de Sains transform into a sort of a beach!
  • July 13-14. Go to the Firemen’s Balls (Bals des Pompiers) that will take place in each Paris arrondissements from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.!
  • July 14. Goin the national celebration that that will take place down the Champs-Elysees, from the Arc de Triomphe to the Place de la Concorde. It starts at 10 a.m.!
  • July 14. Join a very special cruise with a 6-course dinner, champagne and live music. Book Early on one of the Bateaux Parisiens and see the fireworks from the deck!
  • July 18. Go to the Cinéma en Plein Air, in Parc de la Villette, and see La La Land in English karaoke version!
  • July 22. Go to the Cinema en Plein Air in Parc de la Villette and enjoy the Beatles movie Yellow Submarine in the original language!
  • July 28. Would you like to see the famous Tour de France? Go to the Champs-Elysees or in the Tuileries Garden from 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.!

August 2019

  • August 1 and 2. Go to the Cinema en Plein Air in Parc de la Villette and enjoy movies in the English language – Sugar Man on the 1st and Spring Breakers on the 2nd. They start at 9 p.m.
  • Until August 5, go to the annual Paris Quartiered’Eté Festival. It is a summer festival where you can enjoy music, dance, theater performances. There are more than 70 locations so check the details here
  • August 7. The sales end today! If you want to go shopping and save some money… save the date too!
  • From August 11 go to the Classique au Vert festival. It is a classical music festival that takes place in Parc Floral (Paris Botanical Garden) for 4 weekends.
  • August 15. Go to the Fete de l’Assomption, a Roman Catholic celebration it is very charming to see the procession by torchlight that starts at 8.30 p.m. in the neighborhoods of Notre Dame Cathedral.
  • August 18. Go to the Cinéma en Plain Eir in Parc de la Villette to listen and see Interstella 555 made by the French electronic duo Daft Punk! (in English)
  • August 24, 25, 26. Check the concerts that will take place in Parc de Saint-Cloud for the Rock en Seine festival.
  • August 25. Join the Paris Chamber Orchestra concert that will take place on the esplanade in front of the Hotel de Ville of Paris (the City Hall). The concert starts at 9 p.m. and it is on the occasion of the Liberation of Paris festivity
  • Until August 25 go to the Tuileries Garden and enjoy the Fun Fair with the giant Ferris wheel to see Paris from above!
  • Until August 27 go to the Centre Pompidou and visit “Coding the World”, an exhibition about the history of digital code in art



September 2019

  • September 5-14. Join Paris Design Week events! You can meet lots of designers and artists and see what’s new in the interiors world!
  • From September 6. Go to Kiosquorama Festival! An arts Festival in various squares of Paris.
  • September 8. La Parisienne is a running race that is just for women. It is a very inspiring race to watch too. It is a charity race for breast cancer research. It is in the heart of Bois de Boulogne park.
  • September 12. From this day until October 16 you can attend to Verdi’s masterpiece La Traviata in Palais Garnier.
  • September 15. Today is a car-free day in Paris. Take advantage of this day to explore the city breathing clean air and walking freely!
  • Until September 16. This day closes the exhibitions dedicated to Prehistory at Pompidou Centre. Hurry up! It’s splendid.
  • September 21-23. Join the Gout de France Festival! The place to be to meet famous chefs that can make you taste excellent French cuisine.
  • September 23. Today starts the Parisian Fashion Week!
  • September 24. At Musée d’Orsay opens the exhibitions of Edgar Degas paintings!

October 2019

  • All month. Go to admire Caravaggio’s artworks at the Musée Jacquemart-André!
  • October 3-5. ParisArtistes is the art festival that takes place in 40 galleries and studios. The admission is free.
  • October 6. Enjoy the White Night in Paris. You can enjoy more than 100 art installations, concerts, dance and performance in arrondissement 3, 4 and 19!
  • October 10-14. Go to the Montmartre’s annual Grape Harvest Festival in Arrondissement 18.
  • October 12-27. Join the Jazz Sur Seine festival in all the small clubs around the river.
  • October 18-21. Join the FiAC, the huge international contemporary art fair that takes place at Grand Palais!
  • October 21-November 1. Go to the Salon du Chocolat at Porte de Versailles! Cooking demos and tasting stands will be there for you from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day!
  • October 31. Go to celebrate Halloween in Paris at the Grand Rex movie theatre. The show start at 8 p.m.!



November 2019

  • November 3. Free entry to all the museums of Paris from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.!
  • November 6. Today the Renoir père et fils exhibitions at Musee d’Orsay.
  • November 8. The exhibitions dedicated to a prestigious Italian painting collection start today at Louvre Museum.
  • November 7-12. Go to the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles at Salon de la Photo.
  • November 8-11. Go to the Paris Photo festival. The biggest photography fair of the world at Grand Palais!
  • From November 15. Go to the Galeries Lafayette, Printemps Haussmann and Bon Marché in arrondissement 7: Xmas Markets are about to start!
  • November 21. Go to cafès and bistros of the city to enjoy the events that these places organize to celebrate their tradition on the third Thursday of the month.
  • From November 23. The exhibition dedicated to Michael Jackson at Grand Palais opens today!
  • November 30. Go to the Carrousel du Louvre and join the Grand Tasting of wines.
