Paris with kids 2 days program

Paris with kids, 2 days program. Are you planning to visit Paris with kids in 2 days? Here’s a program you can use. People are coming to Paris with kids all the time since despite the city is huge and tiring to explore, it is one of the most loved cities by children and kids too. Maybe that is because even where you are not in Disneyland, everything is dreamy and romantic anyway!

Before planning how to spend your time in Paris with kids, I suggest taking a look at Paris with kids tips too. Also, you might be looking for accommodation too.

Paris with kids 2-days program, day 1

Once you are arrived in Paris, as the first thing to do in the morning I would go to Trocadero.
From that point in Paris, you can immediately admire the magnificent Tour Eiffel. Once you are there, you can take a long walk across the Trocadero Gardens, one of the most beautiful Parks in Paris.

From there, you can have a quick lunch. I would go to one of the typical kiosks that are very close to the famous Warsaw fountain. Once you have visited this beautiful area, you are ready to have a wider glance in Paris. That is why I suggest taking a Bateau Mouche. You will learn a lot about the city and the attractions that are close to the heart of Paris, the Ile Saint-Louis. Also, you will see attractions like the Eiffel Tower and the Notre-Dame Cathedral from a unique perspective.

After the 1-hour cruise on the Seine, I would be headed to Parc de la Villette. There you will find a huge area dedicated to culture in multiple ways: from the cinema to music. If you are lucky enough, you will have the chance to join at least one of the free events they plan in Parc de la Villette.

The place I suggest going to spend the evening of Day 1 in Paris with kids is Montmartre! You will be in a typical and colorful place that everybody loves in Paris. Even the most tired kids are amazed by the colors and wonders of Paris from Montmartre. There are lots of brasseries and restaurants too, both Parisians and of the cuisines from all over the world!

Paris with kids 2-days program, 2 day

In the morning of day 2 of your Paris with kids in 2-days experience, I would go to Le Marais. Since you don’t have any time to visit the city, I recommend going in the most traditional and authentic places in Paris. Le Marais is one of those. Even if you will find lots of tourists, it still is the place to go to feel that you are in Paris. There are many attractions and museums too. Kids might be amazed by the Pompidou center since it is very colorful. Plus, you can admire the city from above from Centre Pompidou terrace!

After spending the morning in Le Marais, where I suggest having lunch too, the best thing you may do is to go to the Tuileries. Kids love Tuileries! It is the place to be if you love animals – there are lots of seagulls, ducks, crows – and merry-go-rounds. If you want to see the Paris landscape once again, you can also go on the huge Ferris wheel.

Once you are in Tuileries, you are very close to the Louvre museum which I don’t recommend going with kids. There are many museums for kids you can go for. Or, I would prefer the museums in Tuileries Garden, such as the Orangerie and the Jeu de Pomme, that are at least smaller than the Louvre!

Tuileries is very close to the Opera area, where you can admire once again how magnificent are some peculiar palaces in Paris. Or, you can also take a walk along the Avenue des Champs Elysees. Or, if you would like to go back towards le Marais, you can walk along rue de Rivoli.

If you would like to change area, an alternative might be going in rue de Moufettard, where there are lots of typical restaurants and cafès, or along Canal St. Martin!
