Swimming Centers in Paris
Here is a pair of Swimming centers where you can go take a break during Summer days in Paris.
- Josephine Baker swimming center
The Josephine Baker opened in 2007 is more than just a swimming pool. It is an actual oasis of wellness in the very center of the city. The address of the pool “Josephine Baker” is Quai François Muriac (Metro station: Bibliothéque François Mitterand), Paris arrondissement 13. At the Josephine Baker, there is a 25-meter pool and a smaller pool for children. There also is a jacuzzi, a sauna, and a solarium. If you choose the Josephine Baker, you will do it also for its extraordinary movable glass cover that covers the pool. It is simply exceptional!
- Keller pool
If you have always hated the smell of chlorine in swimming pools, go where it’s totally different. At the Keller pool in Paris, the water in the pools is not treated with chlorine, but ozone ensures perfect disinfestation, without characteristic odor.
The Olympic pool is 50 meters wide; the smaller one 25 meters.
In the Keller pool, built in the 1960s and renovated in 2008, everything is refined, as you can see in the luxurious changing rooms. Another great feature of this place is that the roof is retractable. This makes it totally open-air in Summer!
The Keller Pool is in rue de l’Ingénieur Robert Keller 14 (Metro station: Charles Michels), arrondissement 15.
