European Heritage Days 2020
Are you coming to Paris this September 2020? If you are positive about that, it means that you have the chance to participate in the European Heritage Days, also known as the Journées du Patrimoine.
The Europe Heritage Days are two special days when museums, monuments, and castles are open for free. You may even have the chance to join guided tours for free! Plus, sometimes temporary exhibitions are extraordinarily open for free too.
Even if the COVID-19 situation made everything more difficult, Heritage Days are still on. The event will be on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday 20, 2020. It is the type of event perfect for everyone. Whether you are going in Paris with your kids, with your family, with your s/o, or for business, the Heritage Days give you the chance to access some of the wonders of the world for free.
Heritage Days comes with great chances: many museums in Paris even offer workshops for free! That is why this event recalls artists and art lovers from all over the world.
European Heritage Days 2020, what to do
Even if I encourage people to take a look at the European Heritage Days full program, I love this event so much that I can’t resist suggesting what to do.
- The Paris Musée des Art Forains offers the possibility to join a charged open guided tour. The “plus” is that you can win an exclusive tour backstage on September 18 or September 19, 2020.
- The museum dedicated to Marie Curie is open during the European Heritage Days 2020 weekend. The Marie Curie museum is the chance to discover the story behind 5 Nobel Prizes. It is fascinating, and not for those who are into science only!
- The Paris National Institute for Art History proposes free tours for all ages during all European Heritage Days 2020 weekend. This institute is usually open for students and teachers. Don’t miss the chance to make this experience you too!
