From home to accommodation, kitchen essentials
Would you like to make your home become accommodation in Paris for travelers from all over the world?
Making a home an accommodation means providing it with what a temporary inhabitant could need. That is why I suggest making a list divided by room. You can make sure that every guest has all the necessities to feel at home.
One of the most important rooms of accommodation surely is the kitchen. Here is what you should include in the kitchen of a short rental accommodation in Paris.
From home to accommodation, the kitchen
Provide the home you want to rent as accommodation with cookware and cooking equipment. Also, think about including in your starting cooking kit the essentials. I’m talking about oil, salt, pepper, sugar, and spices. It will make feel your guests more at home. Don’t forget the sugar, tea, and coffee!
Even if no one expects to find napkins and paper towels in a short rental apartment, I suggest always including them in what you offer to your guests. The same is for garbage bins and bags, and reusable bottles.
A kitchen of a short rental accommodation should be provided with soap for washing dishes and sponges.
Having a coffee machine and a kettle is some basics but must-have of a kitchen for a short rental accommodation.
Equip the kitchen of your property with dishes, glasses, and cutlery. Make sure that scissors, corkscrew, and can openers work as well. Clips and adhesive tape to reseal open food packages are a plus. Last but not least, finding the food essentials home may be the real touch of class. Canned goods may be the best choice in this case: pasta, rice, tuna, and ready-made sauces. If you want to do more, you can prepare a collection of fresh french products for your guests.
