Easter Egg Hunts 2020

Easter egg hunts in Paris is one of the most loved activities for children by who is coming even for just a 3-days weekend in Paris.
Joining the Egg hunts is a good idea for those who are looking for ideas to celebrate Easter following Parisian traditions.

 

Here is the schedule of Paris Easter egg hunts in 2020.

The Parc André Citroen Egg Hunts will be on April 11 and 12, from 10 am to 5 pm. The basic hunt costs 5 euros. Another hunt cost 14 euros and it includes access to other activities for kids. For further information, and for the registration, consult the Federation de Paris site.

 

The Egg hunt in Parc des Buttes Chaumont is free. It will be on April 7, from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm. The eggs to hunt are made by the world-famous chocolatier “A la mère de la Famille”.

 

If you would like to join the Egg hunt at Champs-Elysees, you can go there on April 7, from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm. To participate, send an email at paques@comitedufaubourgsainthonore.com.

 

At Renoir Gardens, you won’t join an egg hunt but a workshop for people of all ages to draw and decorate your eggs as you want to! It will be on March 28, from 10 am to noon. The workshop costs 8.50 euros for children, and 12 € for adults.

 

The Easter egg hunt at the Palais Royal in Paris will be in its garden. This Easter egg hunt is designed for children from 3-12 years old. It is on April 10, and it starts at 2.30 pm. It is free but registration is required. Send an email at contact@senoble.com.

 

If you would like to join an Easter egg hunt at the Zoo, i.e. at the Parc Zoologique de Paris, it is on April 11 and 12, from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 4 pm. The access is free, aside from the zoo’s admission fee. Also, it is for children under 6, who will have 10 minutes to find up to 5 eggs!

 

Don’t forget that April in Paris is the month of chocolate! You can join many events themed on this exceptional food. I truly recommend going to some of the most famous chocolates in the city. Note down the Alain Ducasse or the Jacques Genin ones!

 

Easter 2020 concerts in Paris

 

  • Easter Concert at Palais Garnier
    On Sunday 12, 2020, there will be a concert by the Musicians of the Orchestre de l’Opéra de Paris. It will be in the beautiful Palais Garnier, and it costs 36 euros. Here is the program (that is subject to change):
    Dohnanyi, Ernö – Serenade for String Trio in C major, op. 10
    Beethoven, Ludwig van – Septet in E‐flat major op. 20

 

  • The Easter concert at La Sainte Chapelle
    The main hall of the Sainte Chapelle church will be the set of the Easter concert. Ticket cost varies: adults pay 70 euros (+ Champagne); students and unemployed pay 30 euros; children pay 15 €. The program, subject to change, is:
    Bach, Johann Sebastian – Violin Concertos
    Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus – A Little Night Music

 

  • Easter concert at La Madeleine
    It usually starts at 8, and the program (that is subject to change) is:
    Vivaldi, Antonio – The Four Seasons
    Albinoni, Tomaso Giovanni – Adagio
    Pachelbel, Johann – Canon
    Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus – A Little Night Music, KV 525The ticket costs 35 euros. But, for students and unemployed, it costs 24 €.

If you are going to celebrate Easter 2020 in Paris, you might want to know which attractions are free. On Easter Sunday 12, 2020 and on Easter Monday, April 13, 2020, many museums will be open for free.

Some of the most important museums that you can access for free during Easter are:

  • Louvre Museum;
  •  Musée Rodin;
  •  The Musée Picasso;
  •  Musée d’Orsay.

It can be useful to know that museums like the Petit Palais and the Carnavalet ones are close both days.
